UCO Candle Lantern Product Description : The one that started it all. The American-made telescoping candle lantern can be used either as a table or hanging light to provide 360 degree illumination. Spring loaded candle cartridge. Entire glass globe is protected by lantern body when closed. Now has EZ Slide feature that allows globe to slide down for easy lighting of candle. Limited quantity: Mesh bag for kit. Limited quantity #350491. This little candle lantern has a lot of good, and some bad going for it. I think the good outweighs the bad by a considerable margin, so I gave it four stars. I'm not sure why there is such a price difference between the different colors, but I bought the silver aluminum one because it was the cheapest.The good:* Compact, and collapsible. This is a light source that will give you long lasting light in a tiny package (when collapsed) that is about 3/4 the size of a normal can of pop.* As the candle burns, an internal spring automatically pushes the candle up. This is nice since it means that you won't have to twiddle with the candle as it burns.* The glass shield is nice, and I have no worries about it protecting the flame from wind. If dropped, there is almost no risk that the candle will light anything in the house on fire.The bad:* Cheap metal. I mean super cheap metal. I'm no Hercules, but I think I could probably mash in the base with my bare hands. Since I pretty much only plan to use it in the event of an extended power outage, I can overlook this bad point.* It only works on UCO candles. UCO candles are kinda short and squat, and I've never seen any candles in any store shaped like them. So, if you're going to use these candle lanterns for your "Go Dark Bag," then I suggest that you stock up on UCO candles. This is not a big deal for me as the UCO candles are made to burn longer and I'd buy them anyway.I bought one UCO Candle Lantern for the "Go Dark Bag." I'm kinda-sorta up in the air as to whether or not I'll buy another one. I probably will since it would be nice to have two candle light sources in the event of an extended power outage.EDIT - I just noticed that this little bad boy is MADE IN THE USA. What's funny is that I've stopped even looking for the MADE IN THE USA label, and as I was unscrewing the candle mount there it was -- MADE IN THE USA. Anything MADE IN THE USA automatically scores at least one kudos point. So, that makes this a FIVE STAR product. The lantern is fairly durable.Easy to store in small spaces.Candles are a little pricey, but not bad.Here is the biggest problem. I used it alot when I first got it.I would blow it out, next time I used it, it would go out after a bit. I looked inside andthe wax melts the sides to the spring and plunger. I would have to take itapart, clean the wax, trim the candle so the spring and plunger would push the candle up inthe correct place.It is a pain. This little candle lantern is GREAT! I hang it from the top of my four man tent and it illuminates it completely. It's also enough to help with humidity and helps a little with the chill in the tent! After a couple months and wearing the shirt (8 times), the seams are coming undone. This may be due to the wrong size. The padding is good for mild strikes and pokes in the ribs, not as full blown armor! I wear this under my uniform in martial arts and find it nicer than the standard compression tops. I am pretty pleased with my acquire. This helps maintain them gentle body weight. I bought mine 10/2010, it looks like they have changed the sole. We have a dimensions ten foot so I ordered further significant and that is my typical dimensions in slippers

If Kohl's hadn't been so slow in shipping it to me, I would have realized this before my hospital stay and probably would have returned it. Over-all in reasonable situations they continue to be dry however, if you actually force the envolope I'd personally go along with a much better boot.

Gossip Girl 4x07 Chuck Have worn these while mountain biking in the 20's and 30's (F) and they are very good. These are heavier tights than my other Izumi's and are my new go-to for riding in freezing temp or below. As far as sizing I'm 6'1, 205 lbs and wear the XL.

Salomon Women's XA This is my second pair of Salomon trail shoes - first one was actually for trail hiking, but they got repurposed into my gym shoes when I started a training program with lots of heavy lifting and metabolic conditioning as opposed to traditional cardio. These shoes in particular are great for that type of training due to the following:1. Not as high of a heel when compared to many other trail shoes - better balancing for heavy weight lifting with a bar, also better balance when hiking/trail running2. Breathable/mesh outer material3. Very quick and easy to take on and off, depending on the type of weight training I'm doing - sometimes prefer to do squat weight training without shoes4. Superior arch support and insole construction - great for all those hard landings after box jumps!I would highly recommend these shoes as your hiking AND training shoes. I love having them serve the dual purposes.

Gossip Girl 4x07 Chuck I have wide feet so it took forever to squeeze my foot in and THEN the shoe was way too long while my foot was turning purple. I know, I know, lol Why on earth did I try to squeeze it in if it took so much work? I read a review saying that the lady had to squeeze her foot in but then they stretched out and fit perfect within a week... I spent the time and money ordering and trying 3 different women's Keen sandals in different sizes and none of them fit. When vacationing in Colorado I happened across a running store that had Keen's in stock, so I could try a bunch of styles in every size, and finally found that rather then the womens size 9 shoe that I usually wear, when ordering Keen I need to order a Men's size 8...ASIDE from the sizing problem, the shoe is very comfortable and durable =-)

This was the most comfortable slipper I have ever worn. However, the seam between the fleece and the leather started coming undone a week after I got them. It was probably just that the pair that I bought was defective. I couldn't get another pair through , because they were all sold out, but I did order another pair and am excited to get them. Hopefully they will hold up a little better.
